Are you ready to embark on a culinary adventure? Look no further than World of Food, a new series of events that will take your taste buds on a trip around the globe! We know that trying new and traditional foods is one of the best ways to learn about other cultures, and we want to give you the opportunity to do just that. Our first stop? The delicious land of the Philippines!
We’re teaming up with MEKENI in Sakae, a fantastic international restaurant, to bring you a tabehodai buffet that will have you singing for more. Imagine a spread of authentic Filipino favorites such as adobo, lechon, and sinigang. These dishes are not only delicious, but also a representation of the Philippines’ rich culinary heritage. The Philippines is made up of over 7,000 islands and each island has its own unique cuisine, which is a reflection of its history, geography, and culture.
But the best part? You won’t be going on this food adventure alone. You’ll be joining the Small World community, a group of people who understand that trying new traditional foods is one of the best ways to learn about other cultures. And with so many Filipino members in our community, this is the perfect opportunity to share some soul food with your international friends. Not only will you get to try delicious food, but also you will have the chance to learn more about Filipino culture through the stories and experiences of our Filipino members.
After you’ve finished filling up on all the authentic Filipino favorites, you can belt out your favorite karaoke tunes, thanks to MEKENI‘s karaoke gear.
But don’t dilly dally, seating is limited and we want to make sure you have a spot at the table. So please REGISTER HERE before it’s too late! And just a heads up, for those who don’t register in advance, we’ll be charging an extra Y500 at the door. Trust us, it’s worth it for this delicious spread of Filipino delights.
So come join us at the first World of Food event, and let’s dive into the vibrant flavors of the Philippines together. See you there!
