On July 17, we hosted our third Chatterbox Language Exchange at Shooters Sports Bar & Grill in Fushimi, and this one was a little different because I wasn’t there to host! I left the event in the very capable hands of our new Event Manager, Jessica, and Small World volunteer Chiara! Let’s give them a round of applause 👏
Chatterbox is Small World’s signature language exchange, and it’s a great way for attendees to practice both their English and Japanese in fun and creative ways. This time, we had a bunch of new activities! In the first round, participants had to use their conversation skills to make their team members say the word that was written on the cards in front of them! Sounds pretty difficult, but I think a lot of you managed to do it!
For our team activity, we asked you to rank the most beautiful prefectures in Japan! It was a heated discussion but I think some of you managed to get the top few favorite places! Here’s the top ten! (source)
What do you think of the list? What’s your top ten Japanese prefecture list? Where would you most like to visit? Let us know in the comments!
Thank you to everyone who came out for Chatterbox 3, and we’ll see you at the next Chatterbox Language Exchange on August 21!
