Christmas Feast (December 23, 2023)
It's the end of another year, and the last event of 2023 was the Christmas Feast at Shooters! I can say without question that Shooters has the best Christmas meal in the city, and when paired with some truly memorable activities, the Small World Christmas Feast is the definitive way to experience a western-style Christmas.
Supernatural Halloween (October 28, 2023)
Oh Halloween, how much I do I love you? A LOT. This is my favourite season of the year, hands down, because it is the one day of a year where everyone is out, all night long, no inhibitions, no restrictions, no limits. It's a massive event and in true Small World style, we absolutely smashed it. AGAIN.
NIGHTFALL ~K-Pop Club Night~
I've been waiting a really long time to do this. Anyone who knows me, knows that K-Pop is my genre of choice, and hosting a K-Pop Club Night has been a goal of mine for a while. Dreams finally came true last month when we hosted the final NIGHTFALL at Shooters.
Chatterbox Language Exchange (June 18, 2023)
This month, Chatterbox ended up taking place on the same day as Sunday Pick Me Up, which struck me as an opportunity! As a special promotion, Sunday Pick Me Up attendees were able to attend Chatterbox for FREE! This populated the event with a bunch of Eco-Heroes and gave them the opportunity to experience one of our most popular events for the first time.
NIGHTFALL: House Party (June 16, 2023)
On Friday we hosted our second NIGHTFALL club night in the recently converted back room of Shooters. This event is held on a Friday night, which can be a tricky night for some... But I can tell you for sure, NIGHTFALL is worth a hangover on a Saturday morning.
Nagoya Mixer (June 4, 2023)
On Sunday we hosted our first Mixer event, which was an offshoot of one of the Chatterbox activities we tried a few months ago. This event was designed to get participants mingling with as many new people as possible!

Last Sunday we hosted another edition of our Chatterbox Language Exchange at Shooters! This month we returned to our regular structure after last month's successful experiment, but we decided to keep the energy levels high with a music-themed gathering.

This month at Chatterbox Language Exchange, we decided to look at film and cinema! Earlier this month was the Oscars, and everyone seemed to be talking about Everything, Everywhere All at Once, so I thought it would be a good opportunity for everyone to not only talk about the Oscar winners, but also their favourite films and why they liked them.
