Small World and Pop Up Palooza are hosting another series of collab events, this time at STEPS. BOUNCE is a brand new club night with a focus on MUSIC. Over the last few years, KEIGO and KELLO have been perfecting their craft and as BOUNCE’s new resident DJs, they promise to deliver a sonic experience unlike any other in Nagoya.
Our first time working with STEPS, and I gotta say I was really pleased with the vibe – I think this venue really captures the atmosphere we’re trying to create with this project. It’s laid back, dark and with some beautiful lighting and sound gear, it’s looking like it’s going to be a solid event that really scratches an itch. The resident DJs work really well together, with KELLO cranking out some UK classics I haven’t heard in decades, remixed and updated to fit the 2020s. KEIGO really pushing to the extremes of his comfort zone with a harder sound that we’ve only seen glimpses of at The International Party.
But most of all, BOUNCE sounds like no other club night on in Nagoya right now, which is exactly what we wanted to do. I have a good feeling about this one. I’m very glad that Small World and Pop Up Palooza are working together on this event. Thanks to Jon and Kello for putting this together with us.
