A remarkable first Sunday Pick Me Up of the year, with our biggest turnout in months and almost 50kg of trash collected in only one hour!
This month we were back in Shirakawa Koen to pick up what the clubbers left behind on a Saturday night, but this time we were joined by a group of local Daisies and their parents who were hoping to give back to the Nagoya community by keeping the streets CLEAN.
The kids were a super fun addition to the event and it was really fun to show them how easy and fun it can be to look after the city. I hope they can join us again soon!
Also, check out this super cool video made by Susmita, who joined the event last Sunday and interviewed a few eventgoers to find out what they thought about the city’s biggest environmental event!
We’re back next month in the trashiest part of town, Ikeda Park! Check out the event page to register for the event! Info on the lunch will be coming soon!

It was my first time attending the event, and I had a lot of fun picking up trash and chatting with new friends. I even had the opportunity to interview some of them. If you’re looking to make new friends and want to join, just sign up without overthinking it. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
A big thank you to all the organizers for providing such a great opportunity for us.
