Hey everyone! Yesterday, we had another successful Sunday Pick Me Up event in Shirakawa Park. We had around 50 attendees, and almost all of them were new faces! It’s always great to see new people join us and help make a difference in our community. We collected an impressive 35 kilos of garbage from the streets, against the backdrop of the Nagoya Women’s Marathon.
After the cleanup, we all headed over to IN THIS FLAVOR, a local hamburger restaurant close to Shirakawa Park, for lunch. Now, I gotta say, these hamburgers were top-notch and we were all really impressed with not only the food, but the kindness of the staff despite the pandemonium we probably caused when we all squeezed into their little store. We highly recommend giving IN THIS FLAVOR a try if you haven’t already!
The next SPMU event will be on April 9th in Nagoya’s trashiest area, Ikeda Park, and we hope to see everyone there! Whether you’re a regular attendee or someone new, it’s always a great time, and we’re excited to make a difference together.
