We’ve been running The International Party since 2018, and to this day it’s still one of the most popular events in the city. I think that a lot of the reason why it’s been so successful over the years is because we’re always trying to improve. Over the last few months, we’ve been making incremental changes to make TIP stand out way above the rest. This month, TIP’s Dance Showcase proved that we create experiences at our events that few others can match.
When I arrived at LUGGAGE on Saturday night, the crew was already setting up. It struck me how just a few months ago, it was just me and Keigo. Now, we have an entourage! This month, we had VJs Ryo & Masato, MC Zecro (aka Jimi) and DJs Keigo and Kaoru all setting up. It’s awesome to see so much talent involved with this event, and I’m really looking forward to working with these talented people in the future to make this event the best it can be.
The Dance Showcase… sheesh, I knew we planned it but I could not have expected just how incredible it would be! The showcase began with a performance from Kurichun & Ami, before Yamataku, Klowd, Yuria and Bake took the floor one by one to lay down some killer moves that made the crowd go wild. One of the best features we’ve ever had at this event. I am incredibly thankful to these guys for agreeing to perform at this event, and we’re really looking forward to having them back soon.
