NIGHTFALL ~K-Pop Club Night~

I’ve been waiting a really long time to do this. Anyone who knows me, knows that K-Pop is my genre of choice, and hosting a K-Pop Club Night has been a goal of mine for a while. Dreams finally came true last month when we hosted the final NIGHTFALL at Shooters.

Korean pop music has taken many different sounds over the years, and we were lucky enough to host some DJs who were able to cover all the bases. From モンプシ who took care of the R&B and smooth remixes, Sua with the the latest generation of chart-topping bangers, Nozomi spinning the classics from past eras and Nocchi mixing in some of the lesser known (but still HUGE) tracks, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ lineup.

NIGHTFALL has been one of my favourite events of 2023. The energy at NIGHTFALL has always been unique. Friday nights brings in those whose who have a true love for music, nightlife and the theme of the night. When most others are burned out from a week of work, these guys are getting a head start on the weekend vibes. As a result, the atmosphere is electric, and we’ve attracted a group of NIGHTFALL loyalists who love what we do, and have supported us since we began the event back in March.

All that being said, all good things must come to an end, and due to various reasons, K-Pop Club Night was the last NIGHTFALL that will be hosted at Shooters. The NIGHTFALL setup will remain until Halloween, where we give that insane sound system one final encore before we close the club’s doors for good.

I want to thank everyone who has supported the event over the last few months. You’ve made it one of the most memorable events I’ve ever hosted. I’d like to thank all the DJs who have played with us, they’ve blown us away and really pushed us into new territories. I’m really happy with all the new friends I’ve found in you guys. I’d also like to thank Shooters and their staff for adjusting their regular schedule to accommodate our crazy dream.

And finally, I’d like to thank Keigo, who has worked with me on this since the very beginning. He’s worked incredibly hard to make this event happen, even despite the difficulties, and brought Small World that much closer to how I envisioned it years ago. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without him.

NIGHTFALL may be over, but it’s not the end for club nights. You can be sure we’ll be back with a vengeance.
