I don’t usually host so many events in Golden Week. It’s known throughout the country as being the best (or worst, depending on how you look at it) time to travel, and as this year is the first year without COVID restrictions, I didn’t see whole lot of people attending The International Party. But what about everyone who wasn’t travelling? I couldn’t leave you guys out in the cold!
So instead I decided to host a very special International Party, a Golden Week special, and we made the entry free for the first time in five years! And boy oh boy, what a result! This week’s International Party turned out to be the biggest party of 2023, with over half of attendees being total newcomers! What a great way to introduce you all to Nagoya’s biggest international events group.
Suvda and Keigo absolutely killed it with the beats. This was Suvda’s second show, and I’m very happy to see that she’s flourishing and becoming a more experienced DJ. I shall watch her career with great interest. Keigo had his biggest International Party audience yet, and the crowd went wild as he played smash hit after smash hit. Big thanks to both of them for supporting us at this event.
The International Party will return next month, Saturday June 3. Not quite sure if I have anything special planned for this one yet so keep your eyes peeled and I’ll be in touch soon with more deets.
